Project
MX Factor had a strong reputaion in the motocross industry but wanted to re-position themselves in the industry. MX Factor came to Rian Design in need of a new identity, printed material and online presence.

Background
MX Factor recognized a need in the automotive and industrial industries for cleaning products that are not only more cost effective but a smarter alternative for the enviroment as well. With this said, at the end of the day the primary customers are automotiv dealerships and repair shops who may not realize the importance of environmental issues.

Design Solution
We found that balancing the image of a chemical comapny in the automotive industry with the pursuit of a cleaner planet to be quite a challenge. The use of a dark calor palatte along with bold lettering appealed to the industrial side of the business, while the unique shape of the actual canister gave a subtle reminder as to the thousands of aeresol cans that would be kept out of landfills became the obvious solution as an integral part of the logo.

Results
MX Factor has established themselves as “The Smart Alternative To Aeresol Cans” over the past two years and is now seeking growth from the regional area to going nationwide.
