Tylie Malibu® hired Rian Design to produce its annual catalog of young women’s apparel and accessories.
Background
A strong, SoCal-based apparel brand, Tylie Malibu® sells a variety things from clothes to boots to handbags, but mainly, they sell lifestyle. It was imperative that their catalogue do the same.
Design Solution
To capture the essence of the freewheeling, Southern California spirit while still showcasing product details we settled a mix of location and studio photography. After selecting the right talent for both sides of the camera, we organized the product lines, storyboarded both shoots and set a timeline.
Results
The photography worked so well for the catalog that the client decided to showcase it on the Tylie Malibu website as well. Rian Design has established a strong relationship with Tylie over the span of three annual catalogs.
